The day I met the Fox, I went on a journey to a place called King Lake, North East of Victoria.

Having discussed multiple times about viewing this funky orange bus, it was time I went to see her in the flesh.

 

As we arrived down at King Lake, the lovely owner Macy, had greeted me outside, pointed to the bus and said, meet the Fox - Foxy. She was instantly mine. I knew as soon as I met the fox, this bus was the only one I wanted to restore and was excited to give her the love she needed.

Having bought Foxy home, there wasn’t a day I missed getting stuck into stripping every part of the car, restoring and replacing what was needed to bring her back to her original glory. The love and satisfaction I have for the Fox has bought me to where I am today.

​

12 months after restoring Foxy, I had made contact with Macy (previous owner) and insisted she come and visit the Fox. It didn’t take much convincing. When she arrived, she was speechless and over the moon to have seen the bus.

​

She commented, “what you have done and achieved with Foxy was something I’ve always dreamt of doing”. I’m so happy and forever grateful.
